AUDIO TAPE TRANSCRIPTION

If your recorded material is in tape form (audio/video) you can send these to us via mail or courier. If you are based in the local area you can hand deliver, or arrangements can be made for collection by us.

We transcribe your recording(s) and return the tapes to you.

The finished documents can be delivered as hard copy, on disk, on CD, by email. Just let us know your preferences and we will deliver.

As a general guide it takes around four hours to transcribe a one-hour tape (based upon one person speaking at a time) but this can vary widely depending on recording quality, accents, speed of speech, background noise, etc. See our Tips for Dictation page for a guide to better recordings.

Remember: Good, clear recordings = less time to transcribe = less cost!
